ATT Metrology, under contract from EBCO and JEDAV, fabricated major C-17 Wing Tools using computer aided theodolites to locate all critical details. The tools were completed in unprecedented time using advanced techniques of gageless tool fabrication with the CAT systems.

These techniques developed by ATT personnel eliminated the need for fabricating master gages and model masters for the tools. This represented a significant savings in terms of both cost and time for the customer. These techniques are still in use today by many major aircraft manufacturers.
