ATT Metrology is very active in working with customers to develop engineering models from existing
parts or tools, i.e. "reversing" of the normal engineering
processes. Our involvement includes creating advanced techniques of data collection to optimize the
fitting of surfaces to complex shapes and surfaces. We regularly conduct "virtual
fits" of existing components prior to the final join step in the manufacturing
process to assist our clients in reducing flow time in the fabrication of major
assemblies.
ATT staff is experienced in the application of several sophisticated measurement software
packages and can assist customers in defining an effective "reverse engineering"
program for their particular requirements.
